Traded in my 17 R8 610hp V10 with after market exhaust for the 718 (don't like to have too much money in cars at one time- so had to downsize). Overall love the 718 because I can drive it anywhere anytime. Had a 991 TT prior to the R8 and those 2 cars were truly beasts to drive. The Boxster, however, is really a great under the radar car that I can take anywhere.

I took the same route as you, albeit for different reasons. I had a gen. 1 R8 v10 spyder and then a gen. 1 V10 Plus. I sold the Plus and got a 991 Turbo S (faster and better handling than the gen. 1 Audi).

After driving a 981 Cayman GTS and coming to my senses, I realized that far more fun could be had in a less powerful but superior handling package (560 hp being mostly useless here in NJ). Got rid of the Turbo S for the GTS and then got rid of the GTS after driving a 718 Boxster S. For me, the 718 S cars provide the perfect match of handling and torque for street driving.

Hope you enjoy your beautiful 718CS as much as I am enjoying my 718BS.

Beautiful car - and a lovely garage for it as well!
