Every morning, when I'm going to work, I turn on my TomTom with real traffic feature to know wich is the best road to go.

It works very well, it's so accurate that I really don't understand how it's possible. Anyway it's very useful because I gain some minutes on my trip and I avoid big traffic jams.

So, the question is.. Is the real-time traffic feature on the Cayman working good?

I really don't want to put the TomTom on, every day, again...

My assumption on how these devices work is that the parent company (Google, Apple, etc) tracks all devices that run its software, where they are and how fast they are moving. Based on that they can determine if a road has a lot of traffic and/or is moving slowly. This can then be used to determine the fastest route. I suspect the Porsche option does something similar, relying on data from a third party (Google, Apple, etc)
