I live in Los Angeles and the temperature has been quite cold of late, for LA. It has been hovering in the mid to high 50's on up to the low 70's. On Saturday I was out driving with the windows down and noticed a very loud fan noise coming from the passenger side. I pulled over, left the car running, walked around to the passenger side and the fan noise was coming from the vent in front of the rear wheel. I put my hand in front of the vent, and air was being expelled with more force than I would have expected. The air was not hot or even warm. I was running a few errands, and that fan stayed on most of the day, and the air being expelled never got particularly hot. It was not a hot day and I was not pushing my car. All temperature readings on the gauges were where they normally are, and were well within normal operation.
Has anybody else had this happen? Is this a sign of an issue with the engine?
Thanks.
