I just ordered the Remus exhaust. It should be here next week. So I’ll update this with a review and maybe some video when I get it done.
My man, what happened to wanting PSE? Please do provide pics and videos. If you’re doing it yourself, progress pics or videos would be very appreciated! I’m considering a full lift to get into this myself, though I’m not adventurous enough to try it yet. I hope it goes well!

I know. Hahah. Jon at flat 6 have me a good price, so I figured WTH. I will get some pictures and some audio if I can. All I have is my iPhone X, so I’ll try and see if I can get any good audio at least.

So I installed it. Took 3 hours, which is more than 2 hours longer than the AWE system. The clamps it comes with aren’t good. I can’t say they are garbage, but they are extremely difficult to install. It was quite infuriating. The clamps are soft steel bent in a similar shape to the mufflers with a stud welded to one end. The shape needs to be manipulated off the car to get it to fit properly. This took an hour + for just the right side. I was also missing hardware to mount the right hand side link pipe. So I had to drive to An auto parts store to get bolts, nuts, and washers (this was less than 30 mins into th install including removal of the OEM exhaust.) Quality seems ok. It’s coated with something, maybe ceramic paint. It is also light weight. You need to reuse the center link pipe from the stock, non pse exhaust. Which is actually pretty easy to remove, considering I drove the car all winter in New England and have 16000 miles. I have yet to drive it and will post more tomorrow on initial sound.

3 Tom floor jack and jack stands. There is plenty of room to work unter car. The nuts for the exhaust are 13mm. I use 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive to get them
Off. Due to clearance issues, one size and length ( deepwell vs shallow and extensions) make it quicker. The clamps on the one exhaust are real easy. 6mm bit driver. Just loosen, slide to the side. With the clamps off and nuts removed, the stock exhaust is hanging on 2 flanges on the the bracket mounted to the transmission. Just push up and pull back to drop then work the the exhaust over the axles. Right side should be done first, then left.

So, I’m driving to drill this morning. Had to stop for a few so I’m posting this. Initial impressions so far. On start up, it sounds a bit different than stock, but not loud, maybe a bit meaner. Idle is close to stock, but more pronounced with a different tone. Acceleration sounds way better. Deeper, but not Droney (not a word. Lol). It sounds way more aggressive. No drone, but a bit louder than stock around 50mph, which is important because I get stuck driving around 50 to and from work everyday.

Sorry for messy punctuation, I’m on my phone.

So on startup after 200miles of driving this weekend, it sound a lot better than stock on the base exhaust. In all, it sounds way better than stock. I do “need” a downpipe and a tune, or a slightly larger turbo to go with them as well. I hope Cobb releases the pdk tune for our cars soon so I can get launch control.

You make this sound easy man. I’ve been hoping Cobb would hurry up also, at this rate, I’m better off just finding an S or waiting it out for a used GTS. They said no tune until they can access it through the OBDII and who knows when that’s going to be.

I hear you on the Cobb thing. Porsche put strong encryption on their cars to prevent tuning. If they didn’t, most people would buy a base model and flash it to make as much as a turbo model for 50gs less.

Where did you see that they are Porsche approved?
didn't read, heard. was told by a service manager at a local dealer and a friend who owns a private shop doing everything from detailing to race prep (service guy was at his shop). i'm relatively certain in some catastrophic failure situation one would have a problem but the odds of that happening, while possible, are probably pretty slim :)
