I've searched and can't find anything on this. I'd like to switch out the interior and front and rear luggage area light bulbs with LEDs that are brighter. Anything decent that's available? In coming up empty handed.

I don't have the interior lighting upgrade package if that matters. Thanks!

IIRC, every single interior light is already an LED. The dual 'dome' lights in the Cayman, and the front and rear luggage lights, are the only lights in the entire car that are not -- and if I'm not mistaken (@BB718 may be able to verify this), those are LED, too -- just packaged as a removable-bulb unit.

The front and rear trunk lights in my 2019 are both LED. The problem, especially with the very deep front trunk, IMO, is not so much the brightness of the lamp but the high position on the side and black carpeting. The high position on the side of front trunk directs most of the available light horizontally so little light gets down into the well. The black carpeting absorbs and does not reflect the little light that does get towards the bottom. I don't think finding a brighter bulb would consequentially fix this minor problem. Porsche could easily fix this problem, assuming it ever got on their radar, by simply tilting the light assembly slightly so it points down by a few degrees.

On my 718S Boxster top dome lights are bright white led, the bulbs in the 2 trunks are regular 194 bulbs which I replace with white led bulbs. I don't have lights at my foot-wells (above pedals and under glove box) which I'll add in the near future.

All the interior lights in my Cayman are the stark white, i.e. "hot" color of high-output general illumination LEDS.

There are settings for Orientation and Ambient interior lighting. Perhaps the default is not full brightness. They are described in the Good To Know manual and accessible from the Settings menu on the multi-function display.
