Wanted to share something I did to reduce some of the free clutch pedal travel.

One of the responses was from @monkeyofspice - where he mentioned replacing the OEM clutch pedal bumper (a bit hidden up into the pedal assembly) with some off-the-shelf generic bumpers, found in any auto parts store (Dorman 45693). I really liked this idea, so I went and got the same kit. I found it a little difficult finding the right combo of bumpers to 'snap' back into place. I ended up using the OEM bumper, and tucking it into the largest bushing of the Dorman kit. Once I popped it back into the pedal assembly, it still felt a little wobbly/loose in there, but seemed to hold in place. When starting up the car, I noticed I had to push down on the clutch pedal harder, for (possibly) the minimum pedal position to allow the key to start the car - I didn't like that. Once started, the pedal travel was definitely reduced, yet still allowed some travel before the clutch started to grab/bite. Since I didn't want to have to press the clutch harder to start-up, I cut a little bit of the bumper height, and that did the trick. I still didn't like how it fit loosely back in the pedal assembly.
I went on McMaster and looked at some of their bumpers - I found two that seemed to have the dimensions I was looking for, and once I received them in the mail, I found that one fit/functioned perfectly for what I wanted. It 'snapped' and seated into the pedal assembly nicely/securely, it reduced the free travel of the clutch enough to make a difference, but not cause it to be so short that I'd feel anxious about any possible premature clutch wear/performance (ie having virtually no free travel and grabbing as soon as I started depressing the clutch..). And it didn't require me to have to change the way I pressed the clutch in to start the car up.
This part is McMaster 9309K57. You gotta buy a bag of 'em, but still inexpensive IMO, since it improved my driving experience.
Hope this can help someone that might have experienced similar desire to adjust the clutch pedal feel. I realize the majority of 6MT owners are totally fine with the factory travel/feel.
