I am curious what exactly Porsche Roadside Assist entitles the owner to. Has anyone here had occasion to use this and what was your experience like? Nick Murray alludes to using it when he had a flat tire and the sealant simply leaked out on the ground but I don't recall him discussing how that situation was handled. Tow him in? Is this similar to AAA help (or lack thereof)? I haven't found a written description of Porsche's commitment for this obligation and couldn't find anything on a search of the 718 Forum.

I have used it twice for flat tires. The responsiveness was very good. In particular they sent knowledgable operators who knew how to load a low sitting Porsche onto a flatbed with 0 issues and 0 damage. You know the person has done this before when they ask you if you have the tow hook that screws into the front bumper.

Just did it today. Called in yesterday because it was a non-emergency with the car in my garage. First company cancelled this morning because of an emergency job; next company was lined up and arrived within 2 hrs. Everything fine. There are lots of automated phone calls, text messages, and live people involved - sometimes not everyone was on the same page, but things could always be straightened out when talking to a live person.
