Not really in town per say, but I live just over the hill in Reno, and plan to be over on that side once this COVID-19 stuff is under control.... Well, that and of course once their is no chance of snow in the mountains.

Used to do this on State Highway 50 when we were students in UC Berkeley, most often to Tahoe, or Truckee but sometimes to Reno when XC skiing.

I drove the Cayman to Reno a few times. I sold the car a while back. Picking up my 992S on Monday.

Highway 50 is freshly repaved and a load of fun with the Cayman. I will be driving it with the 992 once the engine is broken in.

I was just on it for a bit last weekend. The wife and I had to get out of the house. So we drove up to Tahoe, and took the LONG way back to Sparks / Wingfield. 😁

We are thinking of heading to Downieville California this weekend. When I used to have my Ducatis I would ride there at least once a month. Some nice twisties up in that part of CA.

2017 718 Cayman S and we are located in El Dorado, just west of Placerville off of Hwy 50.

To those who take Hwy 50 from Sacto to Reno, consider leaving a little early and taking Hwy 88. I'm a motorcycle rider and in addition have a tuned Jetta Sportwagen TDI manual and I love going up Hwy 88, either on my bikes or in the Jetta. The road is idea for a spirited drive, especially if you can do it during the week when there is very little traffic.

I live in Valley Springs, about an hour east of Sacto and am seriously considering a 718, which is why I'm visiting this forum.
