SonicSid: did you install the blue interior trim yourself? I have the console piece in my car's color on order from Suncoast, but not sure how to install it. Came across a couple YouTube videos but none are specific to the console trim.

Also, the blue shift knob looks like a million bucks. Very sharp, especially on an open top car.

@Scubaregs - That's a sharp looking car! Wishing you some more sunny weather for top down driving.

Yup, removed the original brushed silver trim myself along with the chewed up rocker panels and took them to a local trused body shop. I basically followed a 991 interior CF trim install guide since it's the same on both cars (https://www.macarbon.com/install_guides/Porsche/991/MAcarbon_Porsche_991_Dash_Trim_Installation.pdf)
Only the cupholder assembly was a PITA to remove, all others came off with ease. Removing the small trim pieces off the cupholder assembly was a bit sketchy. The center console trim is super simple to remove and install. Only needed a plastic trim removal tool set from Harbor Freight. FWIW, I work near you in Sunnyvale, so ping me if you need any assistance. :D
[update: Dohh, just noticed the PDF file I linked to doesn't have any info on the center console trim removal. In a nutshell, simply pull away the center console side panels away starting near the armrest, but leaving them alone near the shifter. Just need to pull the side panels back a bit. Pop up the shifter boot near the HVAC controls with a trim removal tool and lift it up. The center console trim simply is clipped in and just needs to be pulled upwards with a minor amount of force. I did this step by hand. You can see the trim piece in more detail (zoom in) on my mods photos page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/sidmods/40886698773/ This is a 5 minute install after you've done it more than once, 15-20 minute job the first time]

LOVE Raceseng shift knobs and the translucent blue is a great match for SB cars! https://www.raceseng.com/slammer-tr...1-boxster-981-718-cayman-981-718-shifter-arm# FWIW, I still have a brand new metallic blue Raceseng slammer knob if anyone is interested in getting one on the cheap.

@GTS

Nice colour

Love that you’ve gone for a Manual Gearbox, too many PDK’s out there !!

The 718 is a drivers car and in my opinion best enjoyed with the Manual Gearbox.

No doubt that’ll upset a few PDK owners >:D
