Does anyone have good photos of what the black Porsche logo option looks like on the 718 boxster? I'm looking at ordering a shark blue and one suggestion from the dealer was to go black with the logo but I'm just not sure. Would love any advice or photos, thanks!

I have a Carmine Red CGTS coming with the satin black wordmark also. I chose it to retain a blacked out look. Both look good, perhaps use your wheels as the guide? If you have silver or satin platinum, I would stick to chrome, but the black wheels make me lean towards everything being black.
The only chrome I’ll have is the little bits in the PFLS LED headlights.

Here is my car, satin black Porsche logo with body color model designation on shark blue.

Your car looks great. Especially like satin titanium wheels with Shark Blue, IMO black is too dark and silver is too distracting.

Just curious as to why body color rear model logo and not delete altogether for a really "clean" look? And easier cleaning. Obviously subjective, just curious.

Here’s a pic of my Shark blue Boxster GTS with the Porsche name in silver. Personally I like how the bright metal letters create a focal point to the rear of the car. I’m not a fan of the model designation coloured to match the body colour. To me it looks like a a body respray but they couldn’t be bothered to remove the letters. These things are personal; there’s no rights or wrongs…

My car was optioned with model designation delete, black wheels, and black exhaust tips and the small amount of remaining chrome drives me mad. I have thought about trying to wrap the rear logo as it stands out so much against all the other muted tones. The front headlight sprayers too. Swapping them out is such a PITA unfortunately.

I was on the fence about the badge execution, so I went with the one that gives me the most flexibility in the future. If I don’t want any badge, easy, get the floss and goo-gone. If I want just “718,” same thing. If I want satin or gloss black, also relatively easy. The hardest to do after delivery would be matching shark blue perfectly, or getting letters that I had decided to exclude, so I went with this. I’m happy with it.

Great car, great COLOR, I love it. Everything is perfect...except for that licence plate frame in chrome. Why? Any frame with a dealership on it is ...I don't understand it.
Fret not, this photoshoot happened on the way home from the dealer. As soon as I got home the frame came off and the clear side markets went on.
