HI all, i don’t think I’m alone in often being unable to open the doors fully when getting in the 718... as a result I often drag my feet over the plastic sill covers resulting in scuffs...short of replacing the part has anyone had any success in reducing the appearance of the scuffing?

I use 303 Protectant, it does a decent job as long as it isn't a scrape that actually dug into the plastic.
I've tried dozens of different products over the years on our boats and absolutely swear nothing beats 303 for UV protection, dryness prevention, shine and longevity. I'm no longer part of the boating world these days, but remain faithful to 303 for use on all plastics. Once applied, 303 isn't greasy feeling and won't cause that nasty filmy haze to appear inside a vehicle's glass, which is exactly why I stopped using Armor All decades ago.

Used 303’s Fabric Guard on our 1960 Olds 98 Haartz ragtop and it always looked Like the day it was installed. Of course, I Fabric Guarded our BS within the first two weeks after delivery. The top still looks brand new, but it has been one year...so it’s time.
