I've got Xpel, full front and rocker panel and side vents. The rest is paint. I'm looking for a good sealant to go over BOTH those materials. Not the "permanent" sealants, but the routine "wash and wax" sealants.

Many thanks.

You should consider XPEL on the spoiler too. Given that anything that comes out of the trunk goes over the spoiler, it's prime area for scratching (esp if you have kids that are trying to "help")

I have the clear bra on my 718BS and use Wizards products for sealant and wax! It is compatible with your clear bra and does a great job!

Gtechniq C2V3 was advised by my PPF installer, it's a ceramic sealant and recommended because wax based substances tend to leave deposits around the edges of the film. That won't look pretty for a start, but you also don't want to get the wax under the film either.
I've carefully applied Maguire's quick spray wax to no ill effect though, C2V3 is just very easy to apply too with that comforting sacrificial layer to protect even the film.

As an aside, I am not a fan of carnauba wax based upon my experience. It has nothing to do with impurities and not playing nicely with a PPF but having used it on the painted/non-PPF surfaces is it tends to attract dust and does not last as long as the synthetic waxes.

I am a fan of Meguiar's products. You might want to check out Meguiar's Fast Finish product. I think it's fairly new because it was not available in Canada until very recently. I had to order from the US 3-4 months ago -- expensive delivery because aerosols must be ground shipped to my address.

There is a good YouTube video to show how to apply etc. It is a quick spray on wipe off product like their Quick Wax product, but it lasts longer.

+1 used Fast Finish several times......amazing results, and very cost effective.

I had this same question when I got my Xpel and, due to so many different recommendations on the internet, I decided to see if there was anything on the Xpel site. There was - they have their own sealant so I figured I probably couldn't go wrong with that. Whether it's better than the others - I don't know.

The Xpel product seems specifically optimized for the film - I'm looking for one product that I can use on the whole car body, paint and film.

@duegatti, try XPRESS it's extra ordinarily simple to apply, takes minimal time/effort, provides excellent protection, cost effective, and it can be used on any surface (except fabric) and it will not stain the plastic parts. As a disclaimer, I have no stock in Meguiar's products.:D

Reviving this thread with a question.

I use Meguire M21 as my sealant of choice and usually let it cure on the car for about 24 hours. This car is different because it has PPF (3M Pro). Should I have any concerns about letting it cure for that long on PPF?
