I noticed with the top down and about 82 mph the seat belt strap buffets in the wind and beats the crap out of my left shoulder. It eventually gets very annoying. Any solutions known for this other than closing the top?

Solution (A) Restrict your speed to 81 mph.
Solution (B) Stand in a bucket of manure & grow taller, thereby tensioning the seat belt more.
Solution (C) Man up.

Obviously I'm only playing, but not only have I not found buffeting of the seat belts to be a problem, I've never even noticed it. Does this actually bother anyone else? This is my second Boxster the last one being a 981 & despite the fact I've registered several years of Boxster ownership between the two cars & I drive roof down even in winter unless it's raining or snowing, this comment has come as somewhat of a surprise to me. I've actually just asked my wife & she's also oblivious to any issue, so I'm left a little puzzled.

Never noticed seat belt buffeting ever buddy, even on speeds well in excess of 82mph... Are your windows down at that speed? Kinda odd...

My wife is “ seatbelt sensitive” lol. In our Z-4 she had a clip she used to keep belt off her shoulder a little. On the 718 she mentioned this on day 2 of driving top and windows down. I may look into the above suggestions for her. Thanks everyone!
