My 2019 is due for its two year service. $630 USD at respected local independent shop (9 Auto Motion - Riviera Beach). IMO, having everything done at the dealer does indeed provide for Porsche having a comprehensive file of everything done to the car but at what cost and for what gain (especially at almost double the cost)? I keep my own comprehensive file of all work and I believe, by law, the dealer cannot reject an independent shop's service with respect to warranty claims. Local competent independent shop's are not only much more cost reasonable but their customer service is typically light years better than a dealers. A dealer does have the advantage of providing a loaner, vs. $30 for an Enterprise day rental, but obviously $30 is almost nothing compared to the cost savings of not using a dealer.
