Chris, thanks for the picture it is quite helpful. Personally, I have never had a problem staying on top of the detailing side of things given it's kind of a hobby. Though, one downside of having silver rims is it shows those god awful road tar flecks especially here in Central Texas with all the road construction. I would often have to use TarX to get the road tar off when detailing but admittedly it's pretty easy to do.The problem I have always found with black wheels is, the tyres must always be cleaned and dressed. If not the wheels look terrible.
