Picked up my new CS couple days ago.

Very pleased with the spec, it's everything I was hoping for.

This is my first Porsche and first sports car and I would describe the car as being 'tight' and 'sharp'. I enjoy the look and feel of the interior, it's totally different to my Jeep SRT in every way it should be.

Still playing around with all the buttons and settings. The sound is perfectly amazing to my ears. Though I will try the soundakator disconnect when I can be bothered and will report back.

I'm a happy man.

Whooee, that's a slick looking ride. Your first sports car? Welcome to the club! And yes, "tight and sharp" is a good description,

Great spec, grey, black alloys and manual. Just how I have mine.

The difference....you live in NZ and I live in the UK, so you have the most amazing driving roads! I'm here at the moment on paternity leave with my wife and two boys. The amount of times I day dreamed I was in my little mean machine and not a Nissan Highlander with 5 suitcases!

Incredible country by the way!

Congratulations! We'll done on opting a manual transmission and 18 way Sport Plus Seats! That is a proper drivers car, in my opinion...
(If you're asking yourself if I'm taking a poke at you PDK dwelling minions, the answer is Yes) ;):D

...Ummmmm...did someone say "minions", LOL....kinda like them! Regarding PDK vs manual, I've been driving manual transmissions for nearly 40 years. However, with the rumors (strong?) that a PDK may be offered on my upcoming GT4, I feel the power of the "dark side", as I find myself being drawn towards it as a potential alternative to my beloved manual transmission...yes, "the force is strong with this one"...Oh, beautiful Cayman by the way. Drive fast, drive safe and enjoy!

=) I love minions! It also happens to be one of my favorite ways of to make fun of people in real life, when I'm being playful. When I'm not being playful, it's unapologetically obvious. Thankfully, that doesn't happen often at all... I am of course a fan of PDK, and oddly enough, I absolutely love the ZF auto in my wife's 335i M-sport. The GT4 is one of my personal favorite, fairly current Porsche's (along side of the GT3 and Carrera T). But unless my wife plans on putting serious miles herself in the cars I mentioned, I would most certainly opt for a manual in all 3 cases. You will get a free pass though, you've driven manual for long enough to want to experience something different, maybe even easier and more tactful. I would completely understand your choice, given your experience. For me? I'm 42 years old. I'm still loving manual, but I am starting to see the appeal of an automated manual or automatic, more and more. ;)

...Completely understand the "unapologetically obvious" thing. Guilty as charged too! Still a tough decision for me regarding the transmission if given the choice.
