Stumbled on these side intake protectors on Suncoast. Has anyone done this little upgrade? Looks like it would be a benefit with minimal downside, other than being pricey for a bit of plastic.

I got them. They were very easy to install. The only downside was that about 2 weeks after I got them, Porsche issued a recall so that they could give me a set and install them.

Blue Grass Motorsport in Louisville KY installed these prior to delivery on my CPO BS, because it was associated with a recall campaign. Your local dealer should do this free of charge.

Your car will have those installed at the factory. They are OEM parts that were retrofitted onto older-model 718s via recall last year.

I was thinking of Installing the new Boxster Spyder air intakes. I think they look pretty sweet with the larger intake and only one louver. The three louvers detract a bit from the side profile of the car IMO. So I've been looking on how to install these, don't really see how you can do it. A bit nervous on breaking or scratching something. Any help on install would be great.

Thanks
