3 months from when you purchase the car. About a month or so prior to the expiration you get paperwork allowing you to renew the subscription monthly, for 6 months or yearly. While I've enjoyed SiriusXM in all the cars I've purchased during the free run, it's never been something I've wanted to pay, especially the price they ask for it. Back when they were separate and had to compete, the prices were a lot more palatable.

if you want to continue don't renew immediately. in a month or two they will send you a new offer of 6 months for $30, or less than half what they normally charge.

That works or call prior to subscription ending and tell them it’s too expensive. They will offer a discount rate. Say thats too expensive and you’ll stream Spotify and they will come down to 6 mths for $30. I’ve been doing this for years on 3 cars.
