Just got my 718 Cayman S, and one thing I have not been able to find is how to quickly skip to a next track if the console is in a different mode, eg. Waze.

Is there a way to skip without first having to open the applicable music playback page?

Thanks!

There are arrow buttons just above the volume knob on the PCM that will allow you to go to the next or previous song.

If you have the multi-function controls on your steering wheel, I believe there is a way to program the diamond button to jump to the next track. I don't have those controls on my car, but a search on the site should find that.

Can you control Apple Car Play via the multi-function steering wheel?

Edit: Added link

BUT...you're supposed to be able to map the diamond button on the steering wheel to next track, and that doesn't work with Car Play. :(
I'd read and understood that it worked for some people, but unfortunately not for others. I mentioned the possibility and put a link to that discussion in my post, just in case the OP was interested in looking into it. I didn't want to duplicate or rehash that thread here, so I figured a link was more appropriate.
