Someone ordered my car.
Like many I had spent too much time on the Porsche configurator,designing my dream car. And had itnailed down pretty good. 718 Cayman in Sapphire Blue with the PDK, Sport Chrono, Pasm and PTV. Hitting all theperformance options.
Sport Plus seats and GT wheel, NAV And a few other minor things.
But not wanting to go the extra 12K for the S model, Ifigured the 300 hp and 170 top end wasgood enough.
Then I discovered that Porsche had discontinued the SapphireBlue. So I started looking at the Night Blue, but just wasn’t feeling it. So I happened to be searching the Porsche CPOused cars and found a 2017 Cayman in sapphire blue with 5000 miles and PDK, Sport Chrono, Pasm and PTV Plus it was a Cayman S.
If you compare my wish list to the options on this car itseems like someone ordered this car just for me. only thing it was missing was the NAV. I'll just put the Garmin in it.
So we drove 300 miles to look at it, made the deal, and then drove back six days later with a trailer to pick it up.
This thing is a Rocket ship. WOW….
