Finely got around to getting my Soul Down Pipe (200) and Cobb Air Filter installed on my 718 S.

Noticeable change in the sound as well as car is very responsive.

Very Please, now to get the ECU send off to Cobb?
We're happy to help with COBB tune and any custom tuning support :D

Improvement in the sound in my opinion. Also I can now here the turbo spool as well. Big improvement in response.

Only got to drive from dealership home and was trying not toget car impounded.

My friend also drove part way an has the same opinion of the improvements.

Hoping to send it down the drag strip this weekend to see how it does before send ECU away.

Hey sorry I'm late to respond but thank you for choosing our downpipe! Here's to many miles of enjoyment!

how difficult is the install? how long did it take? Is there a secondary catalytic converter for these cars?
It's not too bad at all and there aren't really any troublesome points or hard to locate bolts to remove. Our labor time for it is listed at 2-3 hours. The catalysts are only in the downpipe.

Here are our installation instructions.

Thanks! MUCH easier than my old RS3, where I had to remove driveshaft and took 8 hours to do!

Does the catless downpipe have a strong odor? I know when I had the previous cars with completely catless systems, the smell was exhausting (hehe) as I pulled into my garage.

So, how is it going with ECU tune after downpipes installed? Please share some experience and maybe some numbers if have such. I want to do similar setup but can’t find a good story to learn from.

Haven’t got the tune installed yet. I will post info and Dyno results when I do. I am going to install the 3rd radiator first before we tune, purchase from Suncoast.

Got
I had local Porsche dealer install mine.
got it. Makes sense. I’m going to order downpipes and in a week and install them/tune car before new season starts: mid April for me. I’m doubting on choosing Ecu tune provider between cobb+protune, ehresmann stage 2 or apr. As I want to switch maps (91, 93 or RON 100) first two works better, but APR seems like have the most advanced, deeper and safer tuning. Cobb&pro-tune looks very good except even no approximate numbers for stage 2 pro tune for 718S can be found by me. So I’m just afraid to buy the access-port because it may happen I’ll get much less power then alternatives....

I am doing COBB / Protune then will Dyno to see over all gains. I heard COBB ran into issues with the 718S and Suncoast with their 718S also, to do with heat, Suncoast cured with 3rd radiator, that’s why I am installing the Center radiator.

May I ask what is the cost on 3rd radiator, parts & labor?
