I where fooling around with the track/map feature in the sport chrono the other day.
First i am a "old dude" so i am allergic to mobile devices, i like to use a Pc for these kind of things.

So what can we use to read a .csv file, excell off course but if want to do a lap recording with all the data there is a program call Chronolyze.
From what i know the program have not been updated for years......
https://www.chronolyze.com/login.php

But then there is Race Render.......
I downloaded the free version (alot of limits, but both for Pc and Mac) and i kind of like it!
RaceRender 3 Video+Data by HP Tuners | Download

In a sense its just like Harry lap timer but with total freedom regarding looks and scales etc.
I have tested around a bit with the scales so dont mind the looks on the pic.
So when i went to work i did a longer recording, nothing fancy since the roads where wet.
I will try the chronolyzer cause i think thats a better tool when it comes to analyze brake points and more.

Johan do U have connect plus? If so maybe try the Porsche Track Precision app. I know it's not on pc  You can always install something like bluestacks to run android on your pc ;)

Without connect+ you cant use the sport chrono to save maps or files ;)
I have the Track precision app but some how i cant pull all the info, but i have only done "free" recordings.
(Yes i have used the wifi hot spot )
But i might have missed something?

I like to be able to sit down with a cup of Java while i analyze my Bad *ss driving!
:D

On the app i can see stuff like track length, max speed, G force etc etc
I would like to have steering lock, brake graph etc and Race Render seems to offer it if you pay for the program :)
As of now i found out that what i thought was the gas pedal where steering lock :)

*edit*
Added some text for it to be correct
/Johan ;)

There is also the possibility to take info thru the OBD but i dont know if i want to go down that route.
First i will validate RR, read up on the other versions and take it from there.
Anyways the rest of you at least know what you can do with SC :)

Feel free to use the file and download RR :)

I was experimenting with this data export feature today. It seems the sample rate is only once per second. Is that what everyone else is getting? Or is there a way to increase the sample rate? For track use that is really low.

If it matters, I have sport chrono, but not connect+.

No. I just opened the data in Excel to have a look at it.

It shouldn't matter what I used to open it though. If the data is only recorded once a second that isn't really enough fidelity to gain much useful information about a lap on track.
It is useless for track since you have to start every new lap manually.
Strange, when i looked at it it was down to 1/10 of a sec.
