..Hope this helps
Yes, thanks. The Fabspeed at 4" must look big. I'll need to find out if the Fabspeeds are 4" OD or ID...probably OD. I like their carbon fiber version plus it's a different flow pattern vs. the stock flow pattern.

Keep us updated, If you get new exhaust send pics..and maybe sound cips???
Sure be happy to. If any of you are familiar with the “Dream” exhaust tail pipes for Porsche’s, the Fabspeed has a similar flow pattern.

Dream link, but not avail for the 718 yet. http://www.bcvelocityexhaust.com/Tech.html

@Optical TDI Wait -- would tips seriously alter the exhaust sound if they are not baffled (and the 718s aren't)? After the muffler, I seriously doubt it, even with a change in flow dynamics ...

We are talking about the Fabspeed tip assembly here, right? Not the full exhaust?

Yes just the Fabspeed tips. Some say the Dream exhaust tips (similar design to the Fabspeed) does alter the sound to some degree. But my main purpose is aesthetics of the dual tips. If they alter sound at all, that could be a bonus.

Indeed. I'm considering the same tips, so I'd like to hear about any difference, too.

One thing to consider: a 3/4-inch larger OD will mean the car will lose roughly that amount of ground clearance in the rear. I'd hate to think what a hard scuff on carbon-fiber-shielded tips would potentially look like ...
