Can someone measure their sport tail pipes and see how many inches in outside diameter they are? Trying to decide if the Fabspeed tail pipes will be too large at 4" each. Thanks.

Yes, thanks. The Fabspeed at 4" must look big. I'll need to find out if the Fabspeeds are 4" OD or ID...probably OD. I like their carbon fiber version plus it's a different flow pattern vs. the stock flow pattern...Hope this helps

Sure be happy to. If any of you are familiar with the “Dream” exhaust tail pipes for Porsche’s, the Fabspeed has a similar flow pattern.Yes, thanks. The Fabspeed at 4" must look big. Yes just the Fabspeed tips. Some say the Dream exhaust tips (similar design to the Fabspeed) does alter the sound to some degree. But my main purpose is aesthetics of the dual tips. If they alter sound at all, that could be a bonus.@Optical TDI Wait -- would tips seriously alter the exhaust sound if they are not baffled (and the 718s aren't)? After the muffler, I seriously doubt it, even with a change in flow dynamics ...
We are talking about the Fabspeed tip assembly here, right? Not the full exhaust?
Indeed. I'm considering the same tips, so I'd like to hear about any difference, too.Yes just the Fabspeed tips. I'd hate to think what a hard scuff on carbon-fiber-shielded tips would potentially look like ...![]()
