I have just over 18,000 miles and my brakes are starting to squeak. Way too soon to replace the brake pads I would think.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any remedy?

Your brakes are glazed a common occurrence if lightly using them around tow and then you need to pull up heavy, the brake dust residue on the rotors infuse back onto the pads surface causing a glaze.
easiest remedy is to take your car up to high speed the higher the better (please ensure it is safe to do so) then brake very heavy until you reduce the speed by at least half, DO NOT STOP COMPLETELY, repeat this two more times then let the brakes cool whilst still in motion, Job done ✅

cheers

Porsche make mention of brake squeal in the manual and have produced this video
It is not necessarily an indicator to replace the pads.

try using a power washer to clean out the build up of brake dust on the rotors and calipers. This may well help alleviate the squeaking.
