My current steering wheel has SPORT CHRONO PACKAGE and NO MULTIFUNCTION.

I was trying to source a black steering wheel trim, from your typical vendors something similar to this:

but doesn't seem to be available, anyone can help me with the part number.

You are not going to find a black steering wheel trim for the standard diameter steering wheel w sport chrono. It doesn't exist. The Suncoast part is from the GT3 which doesn't have that dial. Upgrade to the 718 GT Sport Steering wheel is the the only option. Your dealer can order it for you.

Seems the only option is buying the shift knob and boot combo for a 981 with the upgraded stitching. Will likely fit, just won't have the 718 badge on it as ours do.

Where are you located? I live in Orlando, FL. I’m well versed in disassembling these wheels, let me know if I can help you. I have that complete wheel sitting in a box. I am willing to swap some parts around.

no problem with switching around the hardware, it's Porsche software that's the issue. the dealer cannot install the software to enable the multifunction switches unless the codes are upload to the Porsche Cloud and the Porsche mothership will then, enable a dealer to download the required software. i finally gave up and bought the complete steering wheel from Suncoast and then the dealer was allowed to download the software to my car. i still have my pieced together steering wheel sitting in a box....

I had to remove all my trim too for the Boxster but I didn't have MF

.


Now I just ordered a new flat bottom steering wheel for the 911 and it does have the MF on it, hope it's not that much harder
