i was never a fan of the dual tips on the S. to me the single tip on the base not only looked cleaner but more modern and "sports car" if you will. i am in the process of upgrading to a remus exhaust and i bought a used single tip from a base to use with the new system. unfortunately the pipes coming out of the mufflers on the remus will not work with any stock tips so i am putting mine up for sale.

it is a used part so it is not perfect. there are some scratches on the underside as i am sure there are with just about every cayman by now. the rest of the part looks clean as a whistle.

price is $200 plus shipping to your door.

I have to agree! Everyone around me was telling me I needed the PSE or at the very least, dual tips. I modify my cars, I've done so for years. I have really come to like my rectangular, since tip exhaust. I would of changed it several times over again had I not liked it so much. I especially like that I have a stage 2 ECU tune that puts out as much power as a GTS, with quite a bit more torque than a GTS, yet it looks like a base 100% stock Cayman. Good luck with the sale! The part looks clean, and no one will ever see the bottom of the exhaust tip with the exception of a Porsche Tech, when the car is on a lift. Plus, almost every single Porsche sports car I've seen on a lift that has more than 3k miles on the car, has blemishes on the bottom on the tip/tips.

I can only agree, my base build didn't include PSE, partly because I thought the cost was too high for the minimal difference in sound, but mainly because I preferred the single rectangular tip.
Before my car was build Porsche changed the specs of the 718 base to include PSE with the standard exhaust tip as part of the upgrade to include the gasoline particulate filter.
This was almost a dream come true for me, as that was the configuration which I secretly wanted (std. tip with PSE, not the GPF part).
Still haven't taken delivery yet as it will get its PPF and ceramic coating next week.
