While waiting on my allocation / order, I stopped by my dealer today and sat in a 718 to poke around for fun. I was kind of surprised at the storage options. Besides the frunk and hatch of course, the doors have the pop-out door storage, but I never noticed the speaker-area door storage.

But my main point, is there is a surprising amount of room behind the seats. I think I could easily fit my laptop backpack behind one, and 2 six-packs behind the other. (Work vs play) Have y'all found this space versatile? I really like the Covercraft UVS100 foldable foam-core windshield specific to my VW GTI, so I just might be able to fit the Cayman version of that windshield behind the seats due to the surprising amount of space there.

I hide all my stuff behind the passenger seat; sunscreen, my wife purse when we leave the car, and anything else that fits. It helps to have a shorter person using the passenger seat to accommodate those sorts of things. I have no problem finding places for most of my accessories. Can't complain although some do.

I put my cell phone in the door pop out most of the time. On a Cayman there is also a sliding panel above each "fender" area behind the B pillar that reveals a secret compartment. It's a little inconvenient to reach when you are in the car, but it's such an awesome storage place that even those of us who know about it don't think about it.

The amount of storage in these cars is amazing for their size.

I bought the Porsche foldable sunshade (for way too much money), and it fits nicely behind the passenger seat in my Boxster. My phone goes in the console armrest (for CarPlay), and my wallet goes in driver's door pop out storage, tucked nicely out of sight. I miss having the overhead storage bin in my GTI for my sunglasses, but have been storing them in their case in the glovebox. That works well enough. For my needs there's plenty of storage.

Here are a few storage accessories you may find useful to include the front trunk liner, rear trunk liner, and the rear cargo net (image attached).

Those look perfect. I will almost certainly ask for those for Christmas time since I hope to have my 718 in the States in November. Hey, both together are cheaper than the $380 leather fuse box cover. :p

$170 for garbage recycle bin? I'm still pissed off at myself for spending $50 on a console magnetic phone mount from Redlline or whatever. It must have cost all of $2 to manufacture. One of my friends borrowed it before installation and printed a 3d copy of it for around 30 cents. Why are Porsche accessory purveyors priced so high?

I bought two of the Porsche rear cargo nets for mr Cayman- one for the top of the engine cover and one for the rear cargo space. After 19 months of ownership I have only used the one over the engine once for a pizza, but I use the rearmost one all of the time. I live off of a canyon road, and it does a great job of keeping things from flying around curves. It’s pretty stretchy and secures pretty large items.
It is also amazing how much one can put into the storage bins with the sliding covers behind the seats in a Cayman (paper towels, window cleaner, flares etc.).

You can fit paper towels in there? Sounds pretty deep!

The front trunk liner is definitely overpriced for only being a (nicely fitted) plastic tub, but for me it was well worth it. A carton of milk leaked on a ride home from the grocery store and it was an easy cleanup. I can only imagine what a pain it would have been to clean that out of the trunk carpeting.

I bought the rubber liner for the rear trunk of my Boxster as well, but rarely carry anything messy back there. It's nice to be able to remove it and wipe it down.

Expensive accessories? For sure, but what isn't on these cars.

I found a generic plastic storage bin at Lowes that fits in the frunk snuggly. Definately not custom fit, but no one sees it and it does the job for less than $20.
Yes for this ?.

To stop stuff sliding in the boot I use that non-slip grip 'woven' kitchen drawer liner stuff that I purchased at the supermarket. It came in a large roll for about $20.
