Hi guys/girls, I’m a U.K based 718s Cayman owner, having done 8k In her I noticed over the last few thousand miles a intermittent metal noise almost like something is being thrown around in he sump or somewhere similar. This issue is only observed after a decent drive and the car is pretty warm, took her into the dealer and they couldn’t find anything wrong with her at the time, anyone else seen or heard of this before?

Porsche singapore diagnosed it to be caused by the PDK gearbox .. They claims its normal but im not convinced .... Anyone else with 718 cayman PDK setup experiencing some metallic knocking siund during idling at Drive gear?

Same here in my 718B PDK. Was at the dealer, too. It is normal they told me.

All 718 i have driven have that knocking noice in slow idle speed.
Keep pushing to avoid it It`s a sportscar...
