As the title says i occasionally hear a sound, feel like its coming from the right (passenger) side of the engine where is this strange sound like a fan is getting hit with something.
Anyone hear something similar?

I’ve heard the noise. I thought it was the car tires picking up gravel and hitting the panels under the car but haven’t really investigated.

Same here. I heard the noise with my 981 but have not yet heard it in the 982. But with only 641 miles on the new Cayman, I have not yet driven it on a variety of road surfaces.

I occasionally have the same noise as in the video of the thread. I sometimes like to drive with the windows open so I can hear things better.....I will probably wait until my first service to have it checked out.

Thanks for the link. I watched the video. THAT'S MY NOISE!!!! Whatever it is at least i know its not just me
