I don’t think these were an option the first year (or else I would’ve ordered them). I see Suncoast has them now and was wondering how hard it is to do the swap. I’m particularly concerned about getting a good seal around the new ones. The last thing I want is water intrusion into the body or the trunk.

I would think they are direct replacements for the standard taillight housings. No need to worry about the seal.

On the older models there where a foam seal and if you did not tight it evenly you could get a leak.
