Known Porsche tuner Techart, with 30 years of Porsche tweaking experience, has been working on the 718 S series Porsche Cayman and they’ve officially debuted their masterpiece at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Of course there’s the bespoke aerokit designed for both the Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster models. At the front is a two-piece front spoiler with integrated front splitter, an integrated central air outlet in either black PU-RIM or carbon fiber, and additional curved air intake fins.
The back is sporting a painted rear diffuser to match the body and a large fixed rear wing. There are two optional spoiler kits; spoiler I or spoiler II. The one on display is the latter which comes with black anodized aluminum uprights. For Boxster owners, you’ll be limited to the smaller spoiler.
As for performance upgrades, the tuned 718 sits on a set of 21-inch Formula IV alloy wheels and its suspension has been lowered by 30mm. TechArt’s engine management system boosts the 718 S 2.5 litre turbo flat-four engine’s output to a very respectable 400 hp and 480 Nm of torque. That’s enough to launch you from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and the maximum speed has been upped to 296 km/h.
According to GTSpirit, those who want “an even more harder edged sound” can get the optional twin racing exhaust system. Which features two central titanium tailpipes with carbon fiber tips.
Rounding out the entire package are cabin upgrades like carbon fiber bits, special upholstery, decorative stitching, color-matched instrument dials, and lacquered surfaces and more.
