Thanks to all who fielded my last minute questions. Ordered on Monday; due on March 1, 2018. Miami Blue Boxster S, Black/Chalk interior, etc., etc:

I will begin wading through the online manual.

Congratulations & at least given the time of year & expected delivery date the wait should be a little easier. :)
Very nice!
I ordered my Aug 8 and picked it up last week.
The waiting is painful, but well worth it!
Chilli,

Things did seem to fall into place nicely. I am a dedicated open air motorist, and I don't take my "nice" vehicles out on salted roads, which we get early and often here. I signed over my 2003 Corvette, and my BMW RT will enjoy the extra garage space for a time.

aeronca65tl - was "last week" also "on time"?

The car was actually available to us almost two week earlier.

But we had it delivered to the Porsche Experience Center and couldn't fly down from New Jersey to get it until 11/27.
That's a wonderful color combination!

I look forward to seeing your photos - your car would go well with a tuxedo ;-)
Let's hope it goes equally well with a slob. I put a lot of mental energy into configuring with the Graphite Blue/Chalk Sportex. But while it is relatively easy to find a Cayman like that, I've yet to see a Boxster so equipped. And when I floated the notion here, it was comprehensively panned. Someone recommended the Black/Chalk leather; someone else provided a brochure with color combination recommendations. I'm happy the way it turned out.

You should be! Ultimately your opinion is the only one that counts. Most cars on the road are black, white, or silver, with dull functional interiors, and it's great to see some color and personality that Porsche allows us to configure, especially in a fun and engaging car like a 718.
