Hi!

I have a CS with PASM 20mm (drop) with Turbo 20in Wheels...

I realized that the OEM tires/wheels setup have a rear to front tire diameter difference of 0.8in or 20mm, rear tire size bigger than the front...

I will like to have a wider tire size in the rear...thinking about the 295/30 setup instead of the 265/35... any issues with fitment?

the new setup:
235/35 F + 295/30 R will give me a 0.5in difference in tire diameter between them...

Tire comparison:

First of all, what's your goal? Personally, I find the factory setup is very well balanced. By going wider in the rear, and especially not also going wider in the front, it'll end up being much more prone to understeer.

I also was suggested to use the following setup:

245/35 F + 275/35 R...


I can consider to increase to 245/35 for the F.

OP, you didn't answer the question, what is the motivation for wider rear tires?

Also with the wider the tires there is an increased risk of hydroplaning...

No fitment issues whatsoever with 295/30 on mine.

Will 295 tires fit on Carrera Sport Wheels?

They’ll fit quite nicely as a matter of fact. Did our OP’s 'GT4' 295-30-20 rears but substituted an upgrade to the GT4’s with 255-35-20 in front. OE 982/718 Carrera S wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 4Ss. Curious that specifications supplied by Michelin indicate identical OA diameters...

I also have the 295/30/20 with no problems. Looks better too
