For those tracking, wondering if you have feedback regarding the need for Ti shims for the brake pads?

Have been running them for years on my Subaru LGT and they have cut down on the dust boot melting and wear from tracking.

I emailed Hard Brakes this morning to see if they had a fitment, as I don't see anything explicitly for the 718 in their online catalog. I haven't heard back from them yet. If they don't get back to me soon I'll give the US GiroDisk folks a call. Thanks!

Hi Sobiloff - coming back to this topic and wanted to see what you ended up going with. Thanks!

Trying to get brakes/wheels/tires sorted to start tracking the CS soon.

I never heard from Hard Brakes, but Mike Owen from Girodisc replied and said "I can confirm that the pads shims you'll need for your 718 are indeed the TS-1389 in front and the TS-0738 in the rear. We just haven't had a chance to get them up on the site yet." (Remember I'm driving a GTS.)

Between these shims, the Castrol SRF, and Ferodo DS3.12 pads I never had any brake issues even during 30-minute track sessions when the ambient temps were well above 100° F.

Thanks Sobiloff. Think the GTS and S brakes are the same (pre 4.0), but will double check.

Funny that I started another thread on 1.11 vs 3.12 pads. But have heard some rave reviews of the 3.12, which is what I'm leaning towards. Any experience with the 1.11?
