For some, seat covers aren’t the most stylish accessory you can add to your vehicle, but they have a lot of value in keeping your interior in top notch shape. Some seat covers do have fancy patterns and colors that spice up your interior, but their main purpose is to keep your car’s seats clean. Whether protecting against spills, dirt, mud, or even sweat, seat covers come in a variety of prices and materials, so they’re not as easy to shop for as you may initially think. Read More

Interesting. I could see using one of them on a Subaru SUV. However, I don't think I'd want one of the ones on the list on a $70k+++ Porsche.

Also, many of the seat covers on the list mention fitment and quality problems. Fitment with a universal fit seat cover may not look all that aesthetically pleasing.

Now, a custom fit using high-quality materials would be nice.

I use a seatshield elitesport+ seat cover post workout. Take about ten seconds to put on and keeps your sweaty *** off the seats. Regardless of what you’re driving this is worth the $40 in my opinion. When you’re not using it throw it in the trunk and it’s always there when you need it.

I'll 2nd this. Have used SeatShields for years for use after runs or bike rides. Easy to throw on and take off, small enough to easily stash.

I've got custom fit sheep skin seat covers on both my current cars. I had them on the previous three as well. I'll probably order a set made for my upcoming Cayman prior to it's scheduled delivery later this year. They're warm in the winter and cool even in the hot summers where I live. At first glance, they look like a factory item and you have to look pretty closely to see that they're after market seat covers. They're not cheap, but I really like them. They seem particularly advantageous since the bolster wear on Porsche seats is an issue. It's not uncommon for an older Porsche to look nearly new except for ratty seat bolsters.

Seat Shields are great! Easy on/off, leather stays clean when you're sweaty or dirty.
