The GTS 2.5 and GTS 4.0 exists side by side on the German website/configurator, but that is no guarantee.
Even if they keep on offering the GTS 2.5 it is not the same as they will offer it on all markets.
But as I see it it shouldn't be a big deal of Porsche kept offering the GTS 2.5 alongside the GTS 4.0, maybe in some markets the 2.5 would make more sense due to regulation and taxes.

FWIW, The GTS F4T has been taken down from the Canadian site.

I really don't see them offering two GTS models especially considering that a S can be configured with most GTS bits & pieces.

I think it is a shame, when you think about how many variants of the 911 are available, you would think they could offer two 718 GTS variants... I mean if the 911 gets both a GT3 AND a GT3 RS a 718 GTS 2.5 and 718 GTS 4.0 should be no problem.

But I do think you are right, people looking for a fast F4T can spec a 718 S to their wishes, and the GTS 4.0 will very likely bring customers through the doors which the F4T would not have gotten.

I've been wondering about the rumored GT4ST with the TF4TF, or even better with the 6AMT4FT4GT4SF - F4.0T. Don't forget the PVT+, PSE+, and PVNRT. I can't keep them straight.

Can I have fries with that? To go?
Lol PVNRT - bringing me back to the good ol' chemistry classes. At least the ideal gas equation might apply somewhat in this era. However, maybe not tomorrow with the new electric Cayman/Boxsters inbound.

In Australia the F4 718 GTS has also disappeared from the configurator. Only the 4.0 GTS now and manual at that.

I'm not sure how they will sell them as there are not many Cayman/Boxter GTS sales in Australia let a lone manuals. I have only ever seen 1 or 2 manual Cayman GTSs for sale but lots of PDK.

It doesn't make sense to me why Porsche didn't release it with PDK in this day and age where auto sales considerably out number manuals. Maybe it doesn't fit or something? Longer engine and all?

they won't do it because the F4T will still be a better car and can be tuned.

PDKs are delayed across the board for the F6-engined 718s. I’m betting it’s just a bottleneck with engineering resources.
