That declaration on his site has been there for quite some time. I was able to order a year ago and find it to be absolutely great. Can put my 30oz Yeti in it and drive any roads w/o worrying about it tipping or spilling. Worth a chance to email Mike and although may take longer than you may want to wait if he is making them, absolutely worth it. Takes about 5 seconds to put it in place.

Mine is on the passenger side but have no issue grabbing it while driving if needed.

Yeah, somebody email the guy, and see if he's still making them. I always carry a water bottle (a large 30-oz Stanley) that no way in **** it'd be held by the puny stock cup holders. In fact, I'm almost sure the weight would break it instantly. Those just seem to slide under the trim, right? Looks like a great idea if they stay put, like it seems to be the case. Thanks for the update. I get the car until Oct, so still have time to get crap. Ha ha.

Have driven my cars hard and never worried about my cup tumbling out. And yes, it’s as simple as sliding them under the center console on either side
