Does anyone see an issue with using an outdoor car cover indoors? My Cayman will be parked in the garage this winter, but will possibly be exposed to a little winter weather as my wife pulls her car in and out of the garage. I'm debating about which cover to buy, since I do think the rear of the car will be exposed to snow, sleet, and rain from time to time.

Some of the outdoor covers are better as they have a little bit of padding for hail and can also help absorb accidental knocks.

I've used the Covercraft Evolution Block-It which is a four laying cover so has quite a bit of padding which can prevent dents and scratches.

I wouldn't bother with a normal indoor or thin cover. People are more likely to accidently knock it with the cover on than off so it better be a good one!
