Stopped at my usual Sunaco to fill up tonight. The pump kept shutting down every few seconds as if the tank was full. I had to slow the fuel delivery down significally to fill the tank. I'm hoping this was just a gas pump sensor issue, but any chance I might have an EVAP issue? It's a 2019 Boxster I took delivery of in mid June. No previous fueling issues. Also, "if" I had an issue with this system, wouldn't I get a warning light? Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

Probably a pump sensor. There's one pump at a station I avoid for that very reason. Keep a look out and notice what pump(s) do it.

I sure hope you're right Yep, will be using a different pump next fillup

As an ex Shell station owner, I can tell you “don’t sweat it” it’s the pump nozzle that’s defective. Station owners tend to be cheap and don’t like to change them.
