I keep intermittently getting a yellow code in my multifunction display. The attached pics show the code. It appears to be an A with a slash through it. It doesn't happen very often, and when it does. it always occurs when I turn the engine off and have the key still in position 1. If I remove the key, re-insert, then turn it to position 1 again, the code is gone. It's never on when driving. I searched all the codes in the manual and cannot find this one. Anyone else experience this or know what it is? Thanks!

isn't that the sign for auto stop start is disabled?
Not sure, but that would make sense. I always hit sport mode as soon as I start up the car, so auto start/stop is always off, and the code shows up immediately after I switch the car off. I think it's happened now 4 times since I bought the car in June.

In the high-tech world we have an acronym that is appropriate: RTFM. (Actually, it's not really an acronym because it doesn't spell anything pronounceable.) Loosely translated it means Read The Manual. As @MikePhDPE says, that is indeed the symbol for Auto Stop/Start not operational. The manual describes how certain conditions such as AC load, high electrical use, engine warm-up, etc. prevent Auto Stop from stopping. Once you switch the car off Sport Mode goes away. I'm not sure what would be on the screen after that.

OP did say that he drives in sport mode at all times and still sees it which I am not sure makes sense.
I drive in sport mode and never see it. I often sit in the car with the car off for 5 mins reading or replying to emails and letting the breaks cool and still never see it.

This is the baffling part for me, once I figured out it was the auto start/stop notification, why it pops up occasionally when I am in sport mode. I know the car can't auto stop (engine shut down) when in sport mode, because auto start/stop is disabled in sport mode. It's like the system is saying "we can't auto stop because you're in sport mode", redundant ....... but 98% of the time it doesn't happen, and as you say, everyone else that drives in sport mode hasn't seen this behavior. I'm going to have to pay close attention the next time it happens and see if I can determine if I did anything out of the ordinary that might have triggered it. BTW, The manual under the section "Warning and Information Messages" doesn't list this one. You have to find it under the page on the auto start/stop section I posted above. I wish they listed every one that exists in one place, as well as in the designated sections.

Unfortunately info in the manual is scattered all over the place. Reading it is an exercise in flipping pages.
