Any body with the fabspeed supercup turbo back exhaust with high flow cat experience issues with warranty work? Or do you think that would cause an issue with factory warranty?
source:..You should also be aware that PCNA may deny you warranty coverage if your vehicle or a part has failed due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance or unapproved modifications.
So I suppose I could also put the stock exhaust back on if anything came up before going to the dealership
Buy ours instead, we back our HJS HD 200 cell cats for 3 years AND for track use.one last item. if you plan to do any track events or autocross with your car do not buy their cat. that instantly voids the warranty on your equipment. you need to click a few feet deep into their site to find it, but it's there.
It's really, really simple.Any body with the fabspeed supercup turbo back exhaust with high flow cat experience issues with warranty work? Or do you think that would cause an issue with factory warranty?
Bingo!It's really, really simple.
A 'factory warranty' applies to Porsche-manufactured or -approved parts put on the car at the Porsche factory.
A Fabspeed supercup TB exhaust is not put on the car at the Porsche factory.
Why anyone would think that there wouldn't be potential warranty issues with that scenario is way, way beyond me.
If you modify your car with non-Porsche parts, the warranty surrounding said parts is null, void, and done.
Look: I don't want to be condescending, but at this point I feel the need to be:I totally understand the modified parts, exhaust system would not be covered. I was more wondering about engine issues they may try to tie to the exhaust work and deny a claim on
Yes and I think that's what the posts above were alluding to. They may even deny an engine claim even if the mods contribution to said failure is not easily demonstrable.I was more wondering about engine issues they may try to tie to the exhaust work and deny a claim on
