Hi, I have a 2018 Cayman which has had a small amount of water (2 litres) spilt on the interior floor of the RHS (driver's side in my country). I thought everything was OK however the RHS seat is now not moving on the track, appears to be a short or a control unit my have been impacted and corroded. My friendly Porsche Dealer has quoted me 6 hours of labour and parts totalling A$3k to fix it (they say they cant remove the seat as it's stuck 3/4 back, but are guessing on the parts needed to repair it).

Does anyone know whether parts are available in the aftermarket in USA or U.K? Where would I go? Is there a workshop manual for 718 floating around?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks - managed to remove the seat even though I couldn't move it back or forward to access the mounting bolts! The Seat Control Unit has obvious corrosion. I'm quickly checking wreckers for the same part as it's also used in the Macan, Ceyenne and 911 (and probably in VW / Audi when fitted with 14 way seats). The price of a new one is A$550 which I dont mind paying but let's recycle if we can.
