What have you used to remove water spots from glass? The windows on our older cars have sun-baked spots from years of sitting outside.

Thanks everyone. I tried vinegar and regular glass cleaner but these were not effective. I will try the solution, then the clay, and then the machine polishing and see if that works for the windows on these 13 and 26 year old vehicles.

Griots makes a glass polish and glass polishing pads. They also have synthetic clays that are awesome. You could buy their brand new DA polisher and this whole setup for a couple hundred dollars and change. Worst case it will help a LOT and you can use it for the next ten+ years on other things, and it’s half the price of new glass. That’s my opinion. ;)

Be careful using a machine to polish off the spots. In some cases it can be effective but I have seen cars that had that treatment and then at night there’s a huge spider web effect making it difficult to see.
