I have the same rim on my Boxster S.... I think it's a really handsome design that would lose some of its nuance in black.
What I mean is this: on first (and second) glance the wheel appears to be 10 symmetrical (identical) spokes with some kind of a twist that makes the spoke-ends appear different depending on the angle viewed. Closer examination reveals 5 identical wishbones, where the ends of each wishbone both flatten towards the inside, creating an asymmetrical 'twist' when comparing spoke-ends on adjacent wishbones. Nice....
It also shows a lot of 'dish' when viewed from oblique angles, another subtle nuance that tends to get lost when blacked out.
And these rims clean more easily than the 'lobster-fork' 19s on my 987S.
But I have to admit I've never been a fan of painted rims.
