Any recommendations for wheels for track days? Took my Cayman to the track a couple of times last year, and had so much fun, this year it will be a regular occurrence. I’ll drive back and forth to the track, and my OEM 20” Goodyear F1 tires on Carerra rims stood up remarkably well last year. However, I think it’s best to get 19” wheels and have these for track days. I’d like to stick close to OEM set up (maybe buy someone‘s 19” OEM rims that they’ve taken off??) so I don’t have to worry about changing any settings like camber, alignments etc. Has anyone got experience doing this? I’m not a serious racer and these will all be DE events, but the track is Mosport in Canada which will produce some serious speed & fun - probably 10 track days this year.... thoughts?

Changing wheel size for track days will not affect your alignment.
The main thing to consider is tire sizing to keep the front to rear diameter ratio.

FWIW, I run 18” track wheels

I would also recommend looking through some of the other threads already posted on this topic.
There are several.

Also, I may see you sometime at Mosport; I get out there often.

I drop shipped to N.Falls and picked them up. (along with other things)
Are you set on 19" wheels? If you're open to 18s I'd consider the Titan7 T-S5 or perhaps an Apex Sm-10

Currently the T-S7 is available in 19"

The T-S5 will be available in 19" in ~2 weeks.

Apex SM-10
