Where to get rollbar painted

Looking to get my wheels painted black and rollbar white. Can anyone who has a colored rollbar let me know if it’s a cover or actually painted?

I have roll bars in the exterior body colour/color of my vehicle. Being as painted is what the car configurator states they are then I'd assume that painted is exactly what they are. They look to be exactly as on any other Boxster so I'd assume no covers & I've certainly no intention of scratching them just to satisfy your curiosity. :D

where did you find a roll bar for the 718? everyone i have talked to said they are still working on one.

I've merely assumed that the post is referring to the existing roll over hoops as fitted to the Boxster 718 & S, especially being as they asked whether anyone with a coloured/colored roll bar could confirm if it was merely painted or a cover & a Boxster S is what they own. Even if such a thing currently existed, why would anyone have a cover fitted to an aftermarket roll bar? If you'd read their post properly you'd have realised to what they were actually referring. It would also be clear as to what I was referring by simply looking at the attached picture. If I'm wrong I'm wrong but in this case I don't actually see how I can be. :|
Chillin is right and thank you for the picture. I will likely just get mine wrapped in white as I think it would be easier to do.
Chilli, if that is the view from your home, I'd never leave!

roll over hoops are not the same thing as a rollbar, by a long shot. have you ever been in a car with a rollbar and/or full cage? it wouldn't seem so from your post above. there is padding all over the bars to prevent smacking your head or other body parts into it. it's common practice.

thanks for the smarta$$ comment but if the parts had been called by their correct names in the original post there would have been no confusion. i read what was posted.
No Nineball, they aren't the same & yes I do know what a roll bar is. But it was also pretty obvious to anyone as to what 'Mrrippry' was referring (or at least it should have been). I merely referred to the hoop as a bar in my first comment because they had. All the required information was there including their model of car (written at the bottom), to clearly establish exactly what they meant. The fact there was a picture of my own car along with a reference to the car configurator & that it looked the same as any other Boxster should also have been sufficient. Does the picture display a roll bar as such, or merely the hoops? So despite trying to blame the usage of an incorrect term, the truth is you managed to misinterpret the appallingly obvious not just the once, but twice. :D

Not the view from my home but only 10 mins walk & very typical of the local scenery.

I'd have absolutely no problem repeating my comments up close & personal either for that matter, but sorry if I upset your delicate little sensibilities. Be a brave little soldier & try not to cry.:crying:
sure buddy, no problem...
Thanks all, sorry for the confusion
