I own a GTS and find that the stock suspensions (PASM, 20 mm drop) is very good. Therefore, thinking about just doing the bare basics and as such looking at GT3 LCA or Tarret "Cup" LCA with monoballs.

Does anyone have any experience with both? Going to primarily use it for changing front camber to about -2.3. However, want to know if anyone felt more steering feel and responsiveness due to tighter components.

Main concern of course is NVH. I've had polyurethane bushings on other vehicles and was not bad at all but never experienced these monoballs.

If you're on stock suspension go with a GT3 lca. The Tarett Cups are nice, we sell them, but if you're going there go with SPL LCAs. More bang for the buck. For mostly street and any NVH concerns stay GT3.

We have them:

Use "FREE SHIP" to get them shipped anywhere in the US for free. We're closed on Mondays but shoot me an email at [email protected] if you have any questions, my reply will have my cell number in the signature.

Thanks. So is the NVH pretty bad with tarret? Assuming camber stays the same, will the OEM bushing for the GT3, still have noticeable improvement in feel and response?

The NVH is not bad, but if NVH is your primary concern and this isn't a track oriented car there's no reason to go with the mono-balled LCAs.

I run SPL LCAs in my Cayman front and rear, in fact I don't have a single bushing left in my car. Everything is mono-balled and I don't think it's too bad on the street but other than going to cars & coffee it's really just a track car..

FWIW I went with the OE GT3 LCA's

I've been there done that with spherical & solids everywhere on past cars.
This time I decided to stay with OE components where possible.
I still track the car a lot but I don't want to diminish the street side of things.

Thread resurrection...would you mind if I asked what kind of alignment you're setup with? I just ordered Ohlin's R&T's, but need camber...so I'm considering the GT3 LCA's. I don't want to deal with a harsh ride or noisy bearings, either. But what I'm after here is whether you have adjustable LCA's in the back, too. I'm not sure how much camber is adjustable with the stock suspension in the back, but it sounds like I may need to get front and rear LCA's.

Thanks!

Stock will go to about -2. I’m running -2.4 in the back.

For the -2, that was on pure stock also not on pasm. You should be able to get that, and about -1.6 in the front.
Interesting...I checked mine on a leveled garage floor with my camber gauge. Couldn't even get to -1 in the front. Did you do anything else other than the top mount adjustment?

For the rear, I think -2 would be good for what I want to do.

Correct, they are from the 911 GT3 actually. The Cayman GT4s come with the same adjustable LCA from the factory as well.

Thanks, Josh. The GT3 Adjustable LCA seems to be pretty universal among several different Porsche models, correct? I'm not seeing a different part number that's specific to the Cayman.
