Wow, 11.5 seconds with stock tires and APR stage 1 tune ? That's fast!!! And yeah, if the pilot is a also driving a manual, my mind is blown.

I'm so tempted to get the APR tune but concerned about the manual transmission and its ability to withstand the added torque. Another factor is the whole warranty issue and whether or not Porsche would cover any issues that could arise. So some have suggested to wait until the warranty expires until you get tuned. However, the more I think of it, if your gonna blow up something, Porsche probably wouldn't cover you whether or not you are in the warranty period, so moot to wait ? On the other hand, should something become defective unrelated to the tune, and Porsche finds out you have a tune, would they still consider your warranty void and hence not fix the unrelated problem ?

I've tuned many cars in the past. Porsche can absolutely find out easily if you're car is tuned even if you revert back to stock file. And yes they will void your warranty.

There's also a guy on YouTube who compared jb4 vs apr and stated he runs low 11's with just a tune and pdk. With downpipe, he stated that he has no doubt he'll run 10's. Which translates to low 11's for a manual, which I would be totally fine with.
