I had an interesting group of electrical components fail today on my 2018 B-GTS. The ones I've been able to confirm so far are:
(1) Spoiler Failure - wont retract, and gives error message to slow down when I hit 75mph
(2) Spoiler button beneath the shifter inoperative (certainly tied to #1)
(3) keyless entry on rear trunk inoperative
(4) Third brake light inoperative, and associated error message in instrument cluster
(5) License plate lights inoperative, and associated error message in instrument cluster

Dropping it off at the dealer tomorrow ... and sure hoping it's just an electrical harness connector that came unplugged.

Anyway - the reason for my post, is this a "normal" position for the spoiler? (see pic). When I've seen it extend (via pressing the button) the spoiler goes upward but stays basically level. You'll see in the photo that it looks more like an "air brake" position. Looking at the supports, nothing's bent, and it's sitting at the rubber limit-bumpers ... so would suggest this is the normal fully-extended position ... but I dont recall ever seeing one up this high.

Will let you know what the dealer says on the electrical failure .... and sure hope it's a quick fix so that I dont need to drive my Yukon to the PCA Meet & Greet on Sunday :-/

I have never seen that before. Perhaps it is unique to the GTS. Then again, if this has been going on for more than four hours, you should see a doctor.

Maybe if he waxes it hard and fast, it will go down.
And to make things worse, the shortened version of the title in the "Recent Discussions" pane reads "Who Rubbed Viagra on my ...." (facepalm)

Serious question though: does the spoiler normally extend that high? I'm trying to figure out if it was fully deployed in a normal position when the electrical failure happened (aka normal operating mode) or if it somehow overextended.

Definitely overextended. Good that the car tells you to slow down. Could get dangerous at higher speeds.

I dropped it off for Warranty Service this morning. The SA indicated that "fully extended" (borderline airbrake) position comes up at 165 MPH ... hence why I've never seen it before.

Based on the symptoms, the SA suspected that the "rear control unit" failed. Hopefully it's in stock and I get my car back today.

Sounds like creative SA bs to me. Spoiler is either out or not on the 718. It does not have Porsche active aerodynamics (PAA). Also it doesn't make sense to increase the spoiler angle at top speed. If anything you need less wing.
