I feel a dummy for needing to ask this but are the washer jets adjustable on my 4 month old Cayman ?
Being a dinosaur i remember that I was always able to adjust them with a pin on previous non Porsche cars, but these look different.
The lower jet of water is hitting the wiper arms rather than the glass especially on the drivers side.
Many thanks,

Ken

@KEN OB, they have adjusted the washer jets as much as possible. It's a marginal improvement which, at any speeds over town driving is useless. they have ordered new components and will replace them under warranty. Trust this helps

718 washers cannot be adjusted. Not like the Chameleon eye type on other cars in the range, these are moulded plastic. I guess designed for LHD and we suffer with RHD. Dealer gave me a spare and I tried to mod it, but the jet hit the underside of the bonnet. Such a tight area to focus jet on the windscreen. Another poor design Porsche ??

+1 The RHD driver's side 'spray' pattern [sic] is truly abysmal:-/
Really miss my TT 'after-wipe' (Audi owners will understand).
Come on Porsche ...supply the UK with a RHD moulding?
Anyone with a handy 3D printer... ?

So true, as a previous x2 TT owner over 6 years and 120k
the afterwipe and spray pattern was always good.
Interestingly it’s my right hand side spray that gone crap
and thats after only 13500..

Puff of air... I can relate to that... Maybe driver's side orifice needs clearing(!)?

I have to spray the windscreen washer extensively on occasion - just to get
some vaguely on target in my field of vision - instead of it all appearing down
the bottom. Can see past 'episodes' of this necessary heavy spraying fouling
that big plastic cover inside (topside of the 12v battery area). Not good design...
the washer water should not spill inside the froot storage zone, rather it should
actually be delivered to the windscreen. Not rocket science after all.

Way back in a previous millennium 1980s my, then new, Ford Popular showed
similarly when the eyeball delivery hole got clogged up. Such progress Porsche,
shame on you:-|

Haven't looked yet but could I pull the windscreen water delivery tubing off
this rubbishly designed moulding - for RHD vehicles anyway - to pump some
canned air in reverse to clear any apparent debris? Maybe even 're-design'
the nozzle vectoring at the same time?

I had mine replaced a couple of months from new with a new washer jet on the drivers side. No difference. Grin and bear.
